More than 30% agri-products sold in Karnataka are counterfeit ( fake ) products. Ultimately, farmers are the victims of this. It has ended many farmers lives over the years. To overcome this, Karnataka Govt introduced QR codes to secure the agriculture products supply chain ecosystem in the state. Agri-businesses now has to maintain their supply chain with unit-level traceability for their products. This ensures every product sold to farmer is an original product and authenticated by QR code technology. It applies for Seeds, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Mechanization and Tarpaulins products.

K-KISAN is a platform by Govt developed for Agri-businesses and distributers to register and apply for Department Tenders. Scalion Commerce Pvt. Ltd. partnered with Dept. of Agriculture to produce QR Code Generating Solutions for this. Through Kisaan QR Software, we helped over 100 companies to secure their supply chain from unit level, apply for Dept. of Agriculture Tenders, distribute products to farmers.
